A French labor union decided to join the international movement to apply Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) on Israel, a statement from the National Work Confederation (Confédération Nationale du Travail - CNT) said Wednesday.

At the TUC conference on September 16th a motion by the Fire Brigade Union, calling for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions and a review of relations with Histradrut was carried by congress. The General Council later made a statement calling for an arms trade boycott, pressure on the government and an end to the EU Israel Trade Agreement.

UK trade unions have varying policies on boycott.

The NUJ recently voted to boycott Israeli Goods at its AGM. UNISON has a boycott policy. Other unions call for an end of arms sales to Israel or sanctions against Israel
